Submissions

You want to write for 65,000.
Here are some things to keep in mind:
All submissions must be original and unpublished.
Be creative! We publish any word length, any form, any writer. Here are some formats we prefer though:
- Think pieces: Write about a meme or an internet-related topic from your perspective, outlining your own beliefs and theories on the subject.
- Interviews: Talk to someone. This could be a profile, in which your thoughts mix together with quotes, or a Q&A, in which the questions and answers are strictly defined.
- Satire: Write a The Onion-style article about a meme or internet-related topic of your choice.
- Listicle: A "Top 10" (or whatever number) list on an internet-related topic.
- Anything else: Don't like these options? Try us with something new.
There is no guarantee that your submission will be accepted.
Okay ... so how do I submit?
Send an email to 65000.blog@proton.me with the subject line "65,000 PITCH" followed by your topic. Example: "65,000 PITCH: The Rizzler's secret lover"
Tell us why you want to write this. Why is it important? What do you want to discover?
You will get an email back within a few days telling you if your pitch was accepted.
Okay ... and what do I get in return?
We currently pay $50 a piece. International contributors will be given an equivalent amount in home currency.
